PARKS 80m Antenna Wire (Accessory)

The 80m antenna wire is sold only as an alternative for the standard 40-10m antenna wire and does NOT come pre-installed on SPOOLTENNA. 

This 80m accessory antenna wire is resonant at 80, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10m without an antenna tuner, and the 30m band is usable with an antenna tuner. The innovative design incorporates a low-profile compensation coil using a printed circuit board trace inductor for optimal SWR alignment to the supported bands, approximately 3uH.

This accessory wire is supplied on a SpareSpool with a Bongo Tie and is pre-assembled with a banana plug plus strain relief on each end. It's ready to connect to SPOOLTENNA!

FAQs:

Does the 80 m accessory connect to the standard 40-10m wire on SPOOLTENNA? No, the 80 m wire accessory operates completely independently from the original wire on the unit.

Should I replace the standard 40-10m wire with the 80-10m wire? You can, and you may want to if you will be using the 80m most often, but you don't have to. You can leave the original wire on the unit and simply plug the 80m wire into the banana jack on the antenna spool (with the standard wire still wound on it) when you want to use it. 

Does the 80m accessory work with the ULTRA? Yes! You can plug this accessory wire into either the PARKS or the ULTRA. The ULTRA, however, is too small to store the wire on. You will have to store it on the SpareSpool.
